Fundraising – How to Approach Corporate Sponsors

Do not be shy. You have to offer great value to the business, so this idea firmly in mind before you to a potential business partners sponsor. Many companies have community outreach programs, or at least know how important it is with great non-profit organizations. Here are just some of the things you offer for the company:

Access to a new audience – all members and supporters
Great publicity in the community
Loyal Customer – Community Outreachexpands business
Affordable Advertising
Possible tax advantages to donating to a non-profit organization
Make it a community project to brainstorm about the company. Based on the people in your organization, including board members, clients, donors and volunteers. Imagine all the ideas and the people they know approach. Do your board members own businesses or work for companies that would be good partners? How about members of the community? If your organization helps childrenask their parents through their own companies or employers to hire. Make a list of companies to contact you with the names of the people.

Approach when considering the business, you think about the values of the group there. What the companies will share these values? Be creative, whoever you approach. For example, are thinking, for sports-related clubs, only on the local sports shop to companies such as clothing companies, energy bar manufacturers, including food and discountstores.

Decide what your goals and what you make of the society. Offer a number of financial obligations to the election, as you would an individual donor. These options could include a donation coupon or gift certificates and cash donations. Do you want a one-time donation for an event or would like to develop further cooperation with the company?

Also, decide how you recognize your donors and let them know. A great logo in newspaper reports andBanners at your events can motivate companies to donate a larger amount. You can also tell donors to your website and in newsletters and e-mail messages.

Instead of asking, just a check, you think of a partnership with companies for the benefit of both. In a partnership that will help each other. For example, an entity may have experience in marketing, the lack of your organization. Ask for help in designing your communications and you will reach your audience. In return, yourOrganization has contacts in the community and with other non-profits that could help your partner. Provide assistance with their marketing and outreach efforts.

If you decided for the company, concept, call the contact person, a short meeting to discuss forming a partnership with your company. If you take that view of their time and as accurately as possible. Briefly explain your organization and its mission, and about what you need and understand whatThey offer for the company. Be prepared to leave some information about how to change the background and track record, past fundraising events and testimonials from your customers and other sponsors. You have questions as they come in – they can experience and great ideas. Cooperation creates confidence for a long term partnership.

Remember the fun we have to show passion for the cause. Her excitement is a strong call to commit themselves.
